Verum Pinot Noir 2018

Verum Pinot Noir 2018 90 pts Wine Advocate & 90 pts James Suckling

Tasting Notes

The nose showcases lovely fruit purity in the red fruit spectrum, cherry, plum and red currant, nuanced with a light spice component aromatically. Filled with a core of vibrant red fruit on its medium bodied frame, sleek tannins give this a silky texture, which becomes more evident with aeration. Showing well as we speak this should show well over the next couple of years.

Awards, Reviews and other Notes

90 pts Wine Advocate Issue #245 Oct 2019
The varietal 2018 Verum Pinot Noir had notes of ripe red berries and just a spicy touch. It has a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins and a chalky texture with juicy fruit in the finish.
90 pts James suckling March 2019
A bright array of ripe red cherries with light and fresh tannins, decent fragrance and a wealth of juicy allure. Drink now.

Winemaker Notes

We seek a Rio Negro terroir-driven Pinot Noir, fresh and that is easy to drink, with aromas of cherries, roses, and strawberries. Clone 777.
