Distinctive, this offers a lovely mint note, backed by pure raspberry and damson plum coulis flavors that streak along, all carried by finely beaded acidity. A pure, racy version, atypical for this varietal. Drink now.

The 2014 Pinotage has a clean black plum, blueberry and violet-scented bouquet that is nicely defined and pure. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a clean line of acidity, precise with a fresh blackberry and saline finish that lingers in the mouth. It is linear at the moment, but will soften and gain more flesh in bottle. Overall, a very well crafted and promising Pinotage.
