Awards, Reviews and other Notes

93 pts James Suckling
Shows focus and intensity. Medium to full body, lots of pretty fruit intensity and a dried fruit and chocolate undertone. Drink or hold. Punchy.
91 pts Wine Advocate Issue #237 June 2018
The Valle de Uco bottling from the Bramare range, the 2015 Bramare Valle de Uco Malbec is produced with grapes from the cooler, higher-altitude part of Mendoza. It's a blend of different vineyards and zones, some younger and some older, and it aged in oak barrels for 17 months. It's ripe and quite oaky—both conditions that, to me, hide a little of the character of the grape and place. It's riper than the 2014, with some grainy tannins and moderate acidity.

Winemaker Notes

Intense and inviting floral violet aromas with red and black fruit aromas of plum, cherry, blackberry, and boysenberry. The fruit and floral flavor intensity continues on the rich, full-bodied palate, balanced by firm tannins that persist on the long finish.
