A blend of Shiraz (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%). The nose offers up enticing savory notes with a light spice shade to the leather, soft, subtle cocoa, mocha notes with darker red fruits pushing up through aromatically. Medium fuller bodied with nicely integrated tannins the palate has a core of sweet red and darker red fruit flavors, currants and plums, with surprising intensity and depth, especially considering its price point, with some spice and soft cocoa powder on the dry finish. For the money this is a fairly impressive wine; not overly complex but it does show good structure with engaging nuance making it a very drinkable and enjoyable and more important very user friendly.
