The 2009 Viognier is sourced from Swartland and comes with a light apricot, tangerine and grapefruit-scented nose with moderate definition. The palate is well balanced with attractive peach, Clementine and grapefruit flavours matched with good acidity and a clean, composed finish. It represents a good expression of the varietal. Drink now-2014. 89 pts Wine Spectator 9/30/11
A ripe, lush style, with creamed peach, melon and brioche notes laced with a hint of bitter almond to keep it honest.
