Notes
October 2012
The 2009 Saronsberg Provenance Shiraz offers up a meaty, savory topnote with toast, mocha and light spice note giving way to dark red plum and dark red currant fruit on the nose. The palate is rich yet offers up refinement on its medium fuller frame. The tannins are ripe and finely tuned giving a plush character to the texture and a nicely detailed ending. Dark red fruits abound with the meaty, slighty gamey note as well as mocha surfacing up on the finish. This has good length with lovely balance and should drink beautifully over the next 3-4 years.
