88pts, The Wine Advocate Issue #155 10/25/04
Harvested at 1.2 tons per acre then aged in 100% French oak barrels (20% new), the 2002 Chardonnay displays creamy, buttery, candied hazelnut-laced aromas. Medium-bodied and spicy, this is a lushly-textured wine with spicy, creamed nut flavors. Seamless and expressive, it displays excellent depth of fruit and a lingering finish. It should be consumed over the next 3-4 years.
