What’s impressive about this wine is how it can offer so much nuance and flavor without being buttery or over manipulated. Yes it has a fair amount of toasty oak, but what really makes the story is this has exceptional drive and fruit intensity that easily soaks up the oak. Endowed with beautiful balance and fruit purity showcasing vibrant pear and citrus fruit, this has impressive depth and persistence without heaviness, giving this tremendous palate presence. Enjoy this impressive Chardonnay over the next couple of years.

Well-defined, with a range of green and yellow apple, lime and floral notes supported by judicious toast, which allows a good minerally edge to emerge on the finish. Drink now through 2009.
