Dark and concentrated, with a good core of sweet fig, raspberry and currant preserve working along with hints of mesquite, black tea and licorice. Has a supple, pure finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drink now through 2011.

Has Cape Character plus international sophistication, deserves at least half a decade maturation for violets, tea-leaf, and black berries to play a full role within firm ripe structure.
