Golden color. This is a richly flavored as well as a richly textured wine that with its size and showiness maintains good balance and structure that will allow it to age nicely over the short to mid term. The nose combines a creamy, nutty oak element into the riper peach and higher pitched citrus fruit. The palate is rich and round, fuller bodied, with a slightly creamy element of vanilla, as well as a subtle nuttiness (which will become more pronounced with bottle age). Riper peach flavors are complimented by some citrus fruit that adds cut to the overall richness giving the wine a brighter lift and focus as well as defining length on the finish. This should drink nicely over the next 3-4 years.
