Medium red. Brooding aromas of dark fruits, licorice, pepper, herbs and menthol Supple on entry, then dry but nicely filled in, with hints of spice, pepper and smoke. Boasts good sweetness but could use a bit more lift; I'm not sure what the viognier has added here. Finishes with slightly drying tannins and good length.
