Errazuriz’s Wild Ferment Chardonnay has become one of our favorite go to wines over the past year, the 2005 was a stellar effort and the 2006 is just now starting to come in to its own. Not big or creamy, this relies on its fruit purity with a mineral backbone and crisp acidity shaded with well managed toast notes to the riper pear and citrus fruit flavors. Clean, lingering and precise this has tremendous palate presence and definition that allows it to have excellent food diversity.

Green-gold. Smoky melon and peach aromas display an intriguing pungency and good depth. Rich and smooth but lively, with fresh orchard and pit fruit flavors, medium weight and good finishing grip. Leaves a strong impression of honeydew behind.
