Carmenere is definitively Chilean with a unique aromatic and flavor profile. What seems to give this particular Carmenere its personality is its roots, the Maipo Valley of central Chile, creating a wine with a distinctive eucalypt element into the wines aromatic profile. Here you get the mint and eucalyptus tones of the region alongside the varietals herbal cast, as well as vanilla and deep plum and red currant fruit. Offering good concentration, this has a beautiful engaging mouth feel, supple with harmonious tannins that meld perfectly into the fruit. Flavors of dark plum and red currant are touched up with nice integrated herb and toast notes that really compliments the whole package
