Awards, Reviews and other Notes

88 pts Wine Advocate Issue #168 Dec 2006
Aged in 300 liter hogsheads, the 2004 Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon is slightly more monolithic than its siblings, but it possesses a deep ruby/purple color as well as a chunky, fleshy, muscular, tasty style. It should be drunk over the next 3-4 years.

Winemaker Notes

53% Shiraz/ 47% Cabernet Sauvignon - Machine picked fruit, 6 day ferment on skins, pumped over twice daily for 30 minutes. - Malolactic fermentation induced and undertaken. - Blended and oak matured for 12 months. - Bottled.
