Notes
Blackberries, coffee and chocolate nose with vanilla and floral – spice aromas.
Ripe red berry flavours, spicy yet soft.
Strong elegant tannins on the palate with a long lingering aftertaste. Retasted Feb 2012, cocoa powder and minerals with some dark fruit in the background, soft tannins, drinking very nicely
Color – ruby-red
Nose – Aromatic red berry --- Strawberries, wild berries and black cherries
Taste- Velvety and intense body, blanced tannins, long lingering aftertaste
Crushed and de-stemmed. Pre-soaked for 2 days before selected yeast inoculated with controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation pressed with free-run and press juice together . Assessed, blended and matured in French, American and Hungarian oak (300 Litre Barrels) Egg white fining followed by soft filtration and bottling.
Bottle maturation from 12 – 18 months.
