Apaltagua 'Reserva' Malbec 2010 from the Maule Valley of Chile
Reviews and other Notes
87(+?)pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May 2012
Saturated ruby. Rich dark fruit compote and bitter chocolate on the nose and palate; a vanilla nuance builds with air. On the oaky side but also deeply fruity, even jammy, showing a smooth texture and a clinging finish. This young wine will be better if its lumber integrates with a little bottle age.
