Our initial comments on this wine when we first tried it was that we thought it had either some Viognier or Torrontes added in, as it had this amazing lift that made the aromatics jump out of the glass. A blend of Malbec (75%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Syrah (10%) and Tannat (5%), this has an engaging an exotic aromatic profile with a spicy, perfumed, floral lift to the assorted red and bluer berry fruit. The fruit has a lovely freshness and vibrancy with a streak of acidity as its backbone, with flavors reminding of freshly crushed raspberry and boysenberry in the palate. Medium fuller bodied, rich and spicy, with engaging fruit purity and soft tannins, this should really drink beautifully over the next couple of years. This should get some good reviews and in light of its exceptional quality this represents great value. |

This enticing red displays a wide range of mint, damson plum, crushed blackberry and mesquite notes, all offset by tangy acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish. Long and silky. A fun drink. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Tannat. |
