91 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jan/Feb 2011 Bright full ruby. Pungent crushed blackberry, licorice pastille, violet and sweet oak on the perfumed nose. Suave, sweet, pliant and deep, offering a lovely combination of silky texture and real definition and lift thanks to harmonious acidity. Seamless, long and light on its feet, finishing with excellent lift. Terrific malbec: the back label suggests pairing this with charcoal-grilled veal ribs or chocolate mousse!
